Do you have a broad interest in stamps from all over the World?
Why not participate in a stamp exchange CIRCULAR?
Go to the group "STAMPXCHANGE" on "Yahoogroups" and join this stamp swapping group.
Members of this group are active stamp exchangers, by means of CIRCULAR letters. (Round Robins)
Would you like to exchange your duplicate stamps? This group offers you
the possibility to join stamp swapping circular letters.
How does a CIRCULAR work ?
A CIRCULAR letter contains stamps & a list with addresses. The
first person on the list, will send the CIRCULAR & contents to the
second name on the list, in turn this person will continue the CIRCULAR
by sending it to the third, and so on. The last person on the list
sends the CIRCULAR back to the administrator of this group. The
CIRCULAR can be send a second time round, a third, ... etc.
The CIRCULAR contains 5 - 6 small glassine envelopes, each containing
initially 50 stamps, contributed by each participant. Each envelope is
labeled with the name of the contributing participant.
Upon receiving the CIRCULAR, you can take any stamp from the envelopes
belonging to the other participants. The number of stamps you take from
each envelope must be noted on the CIRCULAR letter. Then you add in
exchange the same number of more stamps for further exchange to your
own glassine envelope labeled with your name. This way all participants
can see who is contributing which stamps.
During a second round, and during all subsequent rounds, every
participant will empty his own envelope and replace his/her stamps by
the same number of different ones.
